Tennisvereniging Heerhugowaard facilitates both recreational and competitive tennis matches, where the quality of the lighting has a direct impact on playing comfort, reaction time, and match performance. For players, it is essential that the ball remains optimally visible under all circumstances, without bothersome glare or shadow formation.
For this project, the choice was made for the Sirius Pro sports trim, fitted with a specially developed lens configuration which offers a UGR value below 22 realises and simultaneously allows for exceptionally even light distribution. This resulted in a uniformity factor of 0,8 achieved, resulting in a consistently illuminated playing field without dark zones. The Sirius Pro is available with various light distributions and an efficiency of up to 210 lumens per watt.
The light lines are positioned horizontally, directing the light onto the playing field in a controlled manner. In combination with a light level of 750 lux Does the installation meet the requirements for national competitions and are players supported with optimal visibility conditions during play.
Thanks to the seamless integration of the light lines and the precisely tuned optics, shadow effects are minimised. The result is a high-quality sports lighting installation that convincingly combines visual comfort, playing quality, and professional lighting performance.
