Thanks to plug-and-play integration, installation time can be reduced by as much as 50 to 80 percent compared to conventional wired systems. The system also integrates easily with both new and existing lighting installations and supports DALI, DALI-2 D4i, 1-10V, and PWM technologies, among others. This preserves existing infrastructure while adding intelligent lighting control.

The Cosmo Control system offers various control options, ensuring users always have access to their lighting installation. The entire system can be centrally managed via the Cosmo Control panel, the mobile application, wireless kinetic switches, or a linked building management system.
Users can easily configure and manage zones, groups, scenes, and schedules. Customisations are implemented directly within the network, without complex reprogramming or physical adjustments to the installation. Furthermore, the system supports extensive access rights, allowing installers, administrators, and end-users to each have their own permissions.

One of the biggest advantages of the Cosmo Control system is the extensive availability of data. The system continuously collects information on, among other things, energy consumption, presence, occupancy, lux levels, and system status.
These data are presented clearly in central dashboards and reports, giving facility managers, building managers, and technical services direct insight into the installation's performance. By analysing usage data, lighting levels can be more precisely adjusted to actual needs, resulting in significant energy savings without compromising comfort or safety.

Daylight control
The system continuously measures the amount of natural light in a room and automatically supplements it with artificial light to maintain a constant lux level. This creates a stable lighting effect while preventing unnecessary energy consumption.
Human Centric Lighting (HCL)
With Human Centric Lighting, the lighting automatically adjusts the light intensity and colour temperature throughout the day. This supports users' natural biorhythms and contributes to comfort, concentration, and well-being.
Presence and detection arrangement
The integrated detection functions ensure that lighting is only active when spaces are actually in use. This further reduces energy costs without users having to actively do anything.
Advanced Staircase Function
With the advanced tracking function, the light moves with people through a building. This function increases the feeling of safety, reduces energy consumption, and creates a dynamic lighting experience.
Timetables and Astro Clock
Lighting can be automatically activated at pre-set times or based on sunrise and sunset. The system automatically takes into account location, season, and changing day lengths throughout the year.
Smart scenes and flexible control
For diverse applications, static and dynamic light scenes can be programmed. Think of meeting modes, presentation states, production zones, or energy-saving scenarios.
Scenes can be activated via the touchscreen, the mobile app, sensors, time schedules, or wireless kinetic switches. These energy-generating switches function without batteries, offering maximum flexibility for renovation and new construction projects.
Gateway for monitoring and remote management
The optional Cosmo Gateway expands the system with extensive remote management functionalities. The gateway allows installations to be monitored, configured and supported remotely.
The gateway supports Ethernet and 2.4 GHz WiFi connections and allows for easy integration with building management systems via BACnet and other protocols. Approximately 200 devices can be managed per gateway, making the system suitable for both small-scale and large-scale projects. Furthermore, no recurring software costs or licensing models apply.
Emergency lighting and automatic reports
The Cosmo Control system also offers comprehensive functionalities for emergency lighting management. Monthly and annual function tests can be performed automatically, with results centrally recorded.
Failures, status messages, and emergencies are visualised in real-time. Additionally, the system automatically generates reports that can be easily exported for inspections, audits, and periodic maintenance.
DTX-Service: complete peace of mind
In addition to technology, Deetronix also offers an extensive service concept. Sensors are delivered completely plug-and-play, and where necessary, Deetronix provides on-site project supervision by DTX installers.
Project engineering, system mapping, configuration, commissioning and remote support are fully provided. Thanks to the gateway, installers and specialists from Deetronix can offer remote support and monitor systems when desired.
Scalable, secure and future-proof
The Cosmo Control system uses encrypted Bluetooth Mesh communication and European cloud infrastructure. Devices are securely paired, access rights are fully manageable, and firmware updates can be carried out wirelessly via Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. This keeps the installation continuously up-to-date without physical intervention.
